Rush has just announced the details revolving around their forthcoming release, Clockwork Angels. The album, their first release in five years, is due out June 12 via Anthem/Roadrunner. More details after the jump.
Clockwork Angels will be the band’s 20th studio album. You can hear their new single, “Headlong Flight” on Rock Radio come April 19. For the second time in a row, Rush co-produced the record with Grammy Award winning producer Nick Raskulinecz. Lyrically, the album is said to tell the story of a young man’s quest to follow his dreams in a colorful world of steampunk and alchemy. Based on the basics regarding their lyrical approach, expect something highly fantastical. The artwork and track listing is included below.
