Lollapalooza 2012 Lineup Announced Featuring Black Sabbath, The Black Keys, Jack White and More

It seems that the web site for the Chicago Sun Times has leaked the 2012 lineup of Lollapalooza. Rumored headliners the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Black Sabbath and Jack White all have been confirmed. Other notables performers include the reunited At the Drive-In, Florence + Machine, Justice, M83, The Afghan Whigs and Franz Ferdinand. Strangely though, the Chicago Sun Times URL is currently blank. Festival tracker Consequence of Sound appears to have pulled their story down as well. UPDATE: Both site’s have relaunched their stories.

The Chicago Tribune, however, still has the story up and in addition to claiming the electro-focused Perry’s stage will be moved to bigger location, they’re also reporting that all four original members of Black Sabbath Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward will perform together. The Tribune cites C3 productions as the source of that information, but to date, that contradicts everything Bill Ward and Black Sabbath have said about working together, last official statement had the band proceeding with recording without Ward.

Check out the entire currently announced festival lineup below.
