The Temper Trap Announce New Self-Titled Album for June 2012 Release + Summer Tour Dates

The Temper Trap have just announced the details revolving around their forthcoming self-titled release, out June 5 via Glassnote/Columbia Records.  The same day that the album hits stores, the band will kick off on a North American Tour.  On top of all that, they have just released two new songs.  Check out the details regarding the release and tour dates after the jump.

The Temper Trap will be the band’s followup to 2009’s Conditions, an album that was a huge success in the eyes of fans and critics alike.  One new shift for this new album is that the band has expanded to a five-piece with the addition of Joseph Greer on keyboard and guitar.  The self-titled album is 12 songs long and was recorded in Los Angles with Tony Hoffer (Beck, M83, Phoenix).  Listed below are their 2012 tour dates.
