Mission of Burma Announce New Album Unsound For July 2012 Release

Mission of Burma, icons of the post-punk scene, have just announced the details revolving their new release.  This album, aptly titled Unsound, is set to be released July 9 via Fire.  Take a listen to the album’s single “Dust Devil” after the jump.

When Mission of Burma called it quits in ’83, many doubted the band would ever get together again because of Roger Miller’s tinnitus.  Fortunately for fans, the band regrouped in 2002 and have been putting out records ever since.  Unsound will be their fourth release since their revival, and judging by the livelihood heard on “Dust Devil,” it seems that they aren’t going to be disappearing any time soon.

And if you can, check them out at one of these four dates, for Mission of Burma does not perform often!
