Lights are flashing and the music begins to pound. The Sleigh Bells have arrived at VEVO SXSW. The hardcore music pounds through the loudspeakers as the audience goes crazy. After the jump, check out five videos from the band’s performance.In the first video, Sleigh Bells perform a new song, “Comeback Kid,” as they invite the audience to dance along.
Alexis Krauss, the lead vocalist, takes off her jacket and prepares for the next song, “Riot Rhythm.”
Next up the band performs the song “Demons.”
Getting the audience involved, Sleigh Bells move on to “Infinity Guitars.”
The New York City group tours with three members, Alexis and two guitarists, Derek E. Miller and Jason Boyer. The band formed in 2008 and has released two albums, Treats and Reign of Terror. Alexis and Derek first met when Alexis’s mom volunteered her to sing for Derek at a Brazillian bistro in Brooklyn.
