Indie group Heartless Bastards are about to head out on the second leg of their Spring 2012 tour. This will be in support of their most recent album, Arrow. Keep reading to find dates for the shows and watch the video for their new single, “Parted Ways.”
There must be something about the Ohio air, as Heartless Bastards have already been called a contemporary to blues/indie band, The Black Keys (who also hail from the state). The former made their debut with 2005’s, Stairs and Elevators. The record, which you can purchase here, introduced the band as ‘ones to watch’. Lead singer Erika Wennerstrom’s powerful rock vocals paired with blues inspired compositions has helped them stand out. Arrow (Partisan Records) is the group’s most recent album, and was released on February 14, 2012.
They began their 2012 tour in early February and are now continuing through April. They will finish in the town where they are based, Austin, TX. Watch the video for their new track below.
