For a first time in many years, all of the original members of Guns N’ Roses will be together when they are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 14 in Cleveland. Though it certainly hasn’t been confirmed, age-old fans hope that Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler might grace fans with a reunion performance.
Though Guns N’ Roses still tour and put out albums, their original lineup only lasted through to ’96. Bands usually play at their inductions to the Hall of Fame, but everyone in Guns N’ Roses is keeping pretty hush about whether a show will end up happening or not.
About a month ago, GN’R keyboardist Dizzy Reed, who is the longest standing member of the band in its current form (aside from Axl of course) told Billboard to expect the original lineup in attendance. And as reported by Spinner, other contributors to Guns N’ Roses can be expected to be there too, like guitarist Gilby Clarke and drummer Matt Sorum. Though this all might sound promising, Reed was also quick to remark that he hadn’t discussed plans with Axl yet, so nothing’s for sure.
