fIREHOSE Announces Spring 2012 Reunion Tour Dates

Alt-rock legends and reckless capitalizers fIREHOSE have announced their 2012 reunion tour dates. Check out the complete schedule after the jump.

The band is finally getting back together to play a string of shows this Spring. Originally from San Pedro, California, the group released five records in the late 80s and early 90s before disbanding in 1994. The group rose from the ashes of the legendary hardcore punk group Minutemen, and features two of that groups former members. Mike Watt (bass, vocals) and George Hurley (drums) added guitarist Ed Crawford to form fIREHOSE after Minutemen’s guitarist, D. Boon, died in a van accident in 1985.

The group’s reunion coincides with the release of their first major compilation, entitled lowFLOWs: The Columbia Anthology ’91-’93. Check out the complete dates below.
