Jack White, Karen Elson and More From Third Man Records to Perform at SXSW 2012 Texas Stand-Off

It has just been announced that there will be a Third Man Records showcase for the first time ever at SXSW.  The Third Man Records Texas Show Down takes place at 7:30 PM on Friday, March 16 at The Stage on 6th.  There will be performances by Jack White, Karen Elson, and many more from the Third Man Records team.

This special event was arranged in cooperation with From The Basement and Nasty Little Man.  Aside from performances by Jack White and Karen Elson, the Texas Show Down will also feature John Reilly & Friends (featuring Becky Stark & Tom Brosseau), The Black Belles, Pujol and Lanie Lane, and special guests including White Rabbits and Electric Guest.

The Third Man Rolling Record Store will also be rolling through Austin throughout the week of SXSW 2012.  Starting March 14, SXSW attendees can expect to find the truck dealing out records, exclusive goods, and brand new SXSW-only Rolling Record Store merchandise.  For those interested in hooking up with the Rolling Record Store while in Austin, all you have to do is follow the store’s Twitter account to see where it is currently located.
