Grandaddy to Reunite to Headline the End of the Road Festival

After a six-year split, indie rock band Grandaddy has chosen to reunite for a select amount of shows.  As reported by Consequence of Sound, Grandaddy will be headlining at the UK’s End of the Road Festival with Grizzly Bear, Beach House, The Antlers, and Alabama Shakes.

Grandaddy is comprised of Jason Lytle, Jim Fairchild, Kevin Garcia, Aaron Burth, and Tim Dryden, and they were around from 1992 to 2006.  In that time, they released four studio albums, most notably their critically acclaimed album, The Sophtware Slump. After a 14-year stint, members of Grandaddy found themselves fatigued and worn down by a lack of profitability, which inspired their split in 2006.  Grandaddy fans should make sure to check them out live while they can because, as of now, this reunion is not set to last for long.
