Legendary post-punk rockers The Cult are headlining a free show in Austin, TX on Saint Patrick’s Day. The show is at Auditorium Shores and is part of the SXSW festival.
The Cult are scheduled for 8:00 pm. The Auditorium Shores Stage is SXSW’s biggest – and, more importantly, it’s free.
The show is in support of Choice of Weapon, the band’s upcoming release. The new album is scheduled to drop only five days after the show, on March 22nd. It was written by founding Cult-ists Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy and produced by Bob Rock, who previously worked on the band’s Sonic Temple (1989), and Chris Goss.
