Chaos in Tejas Adds Original 1977 Form of Sham 69, No Age, Ceremony, Screaming Females and More to 2012 Lineup

The organizers of Chaos in Tejas, the Austin punk rock festival, have added new acts to their lineup, including Sham 69 and No Age. Updated, complete list of all acts after the jump.

Punk legends Sham 69 formed their band in the mid-70s in Hersham, England. They put out several albums in the late 70s and early 80s, before reforming with a different lineup and enjoying a second run after 1986. The version of Sham 69 scheduled to play Chaos in Tejas is one of two incarnations of the band currently running around. This ’77 lineup is the more legitimate of the two, as it features original members.

These acts come in addition to the many previously announced headliners we previously covered. Chaos in Tejas is entering its 8th year as a fixture of the Austin, TX music festival scene.
