Last night, February 19, Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon debuted a brand new Blur track. The duo performed this song, titled “Under the Westway”, at the War Child Brits 2012 benefit show at Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London.
Albarn and Coxon played this short acoustic set in celebration of the upcoming 2012 Brit Awards, where Blur will be receiving the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Music’ award. As reported by DIY, the duo also played “He Thought of Cars” off The Great Escape, and “Strange News From Another Star” off their self-titled album. Hopefully more exciting news will come soon in regards to a potential new release from Blur.
