Damon Albarn’s Rocketjuice and the Moon Announce Self-Titled Album for March Release

Supergroup, Rocketjuice and the Moon, who debut music in London last fall,  are ready to release their debut LP in March.

Rocketjuice and the Moon is made up of Damon Albarn (Gorillaz/Blur), Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Tony Allen (Fela Kuti). This new record was produced in Albarn’s Studio 13 in London. Last year the group debuted music at live show at the Barbican in the same city, entertaining the audience with the track, “Poison” which you can listen to below.  The group joined forces with the likes of Erykah Badu, Fatoumata Diawara, M. Anifest, and the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble to create the sound for this new album. The album’s release dates are March 12 in the UK, and March 26 in the U.S. It will be their self titled debut LP.
