The Roots Jam with Bon Iver on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Web Clip

Rumors have been confirmed by SPIN that Bon Iver jammed out with the late night kings, The Roots.  While Justin Vernon was in New York recently, he stopped by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for an epic jam session that you’re going to want to hear.

This came about because Justin Vernon and The Roots’ bandleader ?uestlove are friends on Twitter.  Fans who heard Bon Iver’s most recent self-titled album will notice that this track is a re-imagined version of standout track “Perth”.  It’s funky, even sensual at times thanks to Vernon’s fascination with auto-tune.  The track explodes at the end with a wailing guitar solo and then you get to see this wonderful look on Vernon’s face, who clearly enjoyed sharing the stage with The Roots.
