Trampled By Turtles Announce New Album Stars and Satellites for April 2012 Release

The bluegrass band Trampled by Turtles has recently announced that they will be releasing a new album on April 10.  The album, Stars and Satellites, will be their sixth album and follows Palomino which has been extremely successful in the world of bluegrass. The group was formed in Duluth, Minnesota in 2003 and is known for its progressive and fast-paced songs.  Trampled by Turtles is composed of Dave Simonett, Tim Saxhaug, Dave Carroll, Erik Berry, and Ryan Young. Having started out in punk and rock, the band brings unique influences to its bluegrass music.

According to Berry, their newest album “is all about going inward.”  They have mastered their live performances, so they decided to take a new approach to their sixth CD.

Check out the song and video for their single “Alone.”
