St. Vincent performed a cover of Pearl Jam’s quintessential grunge anthem of the 90’s “Black” at Brooklyn’s Bowery Ballroom on January 21, as reported by Consequence of Sound. The Manhattanite and former Polyphonic Spree guitarist, also known as Annie Clark, released her inner Vedder during Portlandia: the Tour. Check out the performance after the jump:
As previously reported, Annie Clark and Vedder himself are slated to show up sometime during this season of Portlandia. The Portlandia tour picks up again February 4 at the Trocadero in Philly and ends February 24 in Nashville, TN at the Marathon Music Works.
