Chairlift Announces Worldwide 2012 Tour Dates Including SXSW Performances

In support of their newest album, Something, electronic pop group Chairlift have announced that their 2012 tour dates. This will include stop at SXSW in Austin, TX. The group recently entertained an audience at World Cafe Live.

Since their 2008 debut, Does You Inspire You (Kanine Records), Chairlift have been building themselves respectable following. This year will see them conducting a world tour with stops in Australia, Singapore, and Europe. We reported on this earlier here. The group’s members, Caroline Polachek, and Patrick Wimberly began the group in Brooklyn, NY. An iPod commercial featured their song “Bruises” which you can listen to below. Their touring partner, Nite Jewel, enjoyed success with her 2010 EP, Am I Real?
