Alternative hip hop collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, also known as Odd Future, have announced new albumThe OF Tape Vol. 2, and a tour, both hitting the scene in March 2012. The group will also premiere a new television series, Loiter Squad on Comedy Central on March 25.
The OF Tape Vol. 2 will the group’s fourth full-length studio release, and first since their 2011 effort, 12 Odd Future Songs. The newest collection of song will feature contributions from every member of the hip hop crew, and will be released via Odd Future Records, their label through Sony and RED distribution.
The album will be supported by a ten-date North American tour. Each show will feature an advance episode of their new Adult Swim sketch series Loiter Squad before its March 25 premiere on Comedy Central.
As an additional treat to concert-goers, the group will set up “pop up retail stores” in each performance city.
Odd Future Records is also set to release several albums from Odd Future members, including a spring release of Wolf from group leader Tyler, the Creator, summer release from Hodgy Beats and Leftbrain’s Mellowhype, and an anticipated debut studio release from Frank Ocean.
