Although the Coachella music festival is sold out, those lucky enough to have snagged ticket will be treated to a new album from Flying Lotus. The artist, who is performing at the event, explained via Twitter that he will present his new album at the show.

It’s not known yet if there will be a physical copy available, or if Flying Lotus will only be performing his new music. The artist, who’s real name is Steven Ellison, will be at Coachella on both Saturdays ( April 14th & 21st). He previously produced his Independent Music Award winning album Cosmogramma in 2010, as well as an EP, Pattern + Grid World. His Myspace page describes the music as experimental/hip hop/psychedelic. Other works include his debut, Reset, and his sophomore album Los Angeles. He also received and Independent Music Award for his music video, “Mmmhmm” which you can see below.
