The show marks the fifth annual Oklahoma City New Year’s Eve Freakout. As previously reported, a handful of bands were set to play the three-day event, including Wayne Coyne, Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon, and Neon Indian.

The Flaming Lip’s cover of the White Album track was one amongst many Beatles covers during their encore, which included performances of “Strawberry Fields Forever,” “A Day in the Life” and “I Am the Walrus.”

For their rendition of “I Want You (She’s So Heavy)” The Lips asked Nels Cline onto the stage for a performance that extended the original, nearly 8 minute song (one of the Beatles’ longest) to a over twenty minutes, giving Cline ample chance to showcase his finesse with the guitar.
