Los Angeles based trio Foster the People have announced 2012 tour in support of their debut album, Torches. The tour begins May 29 with two nights in New York City, and the band will hit 21 cities before concluding July 7 in Las Vegas, NV. Joining the band on tour for select dates are the Kooks, Tokyo Police Club and Mayer Hawthorne and The Country. Get your tickets here.

The year has been a busy one for Foster the People, with Torches going gold and three sold out headlining U.S. tours, in addition to two Grammy nominations for ‘Best Alternative Album’ and ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’. Torches also made it onto MXDWN’s Top 40 Album’s of 2011.
The Kooks will be joining Foster the People for the first leg of the tour from May 29-June 10, with Tokyo Police Club picking up the middle dates June 12-22, and Mayer Hawthorne and The Country closing the final dates from June 25- July 7.
