American indie rockers The Shins have announced a March 2012 release date for their forthcoming album, Port of Morrow. Check out the full tracklist and album art after the jump.
Though frontman James Mercer released an album under the Broken Bells masthead alongside songwriter and producer Danger Mouse, Port of Morrow will the group’s first since 2007’s Wincing The Night Away.
Greg Kurstin of Lily Allen and Kylie Minogue fame headed up production duties, and last remaining original group member and principle Port of Morrow musician James Mercer has been making the publicity rounds with a showcase of new tunes during a string of live appearances.
Wincing the Night Away’s tracklist is as follows:
