Andrea True was found dead in Kingston, New York at age 68 due to undisclosed causes. She was a singer, porn star, actress, astrologer, and drug counselor all bundled up in one person and she will be missed.
Andrea True was born in Nashville, Tennessee and had plans to become an actress. When that failed to pan out, she became involved in adult films. Perhaps what she is most known for is her famous disco single, “More, More, More,” which was tracked in Jamaica when she became stranded after filming a commercial. In 1976, the song reached number on the Billboard Hot 100. She went on to create three albums and a couple other singles that did not see the success of her first single. Once she retired from the music business, she became both an astrologer and a drug counselor.
Though Andrea True may not live on, her song will continue to stir legs into motion on the dance floor for years to come. Rest in peace.
