Phillipa Brown, better known by her stage moniker Ladyhawke, has announced that her sophomore effort is on the way. Recorded during summertime in the South of France, Anxiety is set to be released March 19, 2012.
Ladyhawke is one of the few New Zealand musicians who has been able to break through to the international audience. She got the world’s attention with her debut self-titled album that came out in 2008. It is hard to resist the instant gratification and catchiness of a Ladyhawke tune, and surely the case will be the same with Anxiety. Included below is a teaser video that gives us a brief glimpse into what we might expect the new album to look and sound like.
