Texas chillwave band Neon Indian is hitting the road for a North American tour this spring, beginning with a New Years Eve show at Texas’ Lights All Night and concluding May 12 at New York’s Terminal 5, as well as dates in Japan and Australia. The tour includes a special show January 1st with The Flaming Lips and Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band, and Purity Ring will also be joining Neon India during the middle of the tour for nine dates.
The band, formed by 20 year old Alan Palomo, is touring in support of their third studio album, Era Extraña, which was released in September on Palomo’s own Static Records label.
Fans who buy tickets directly from the band’s website will be graced with lower service fee’s than anywhere else on the net, not to mention an exclusive T-shirt only available as a bundle with pre-sale tickets. The plastic tour laminate that also comes with the package is also good for a 10% discount at the merch booths for any show on the tour.
