Former Warner Music Group CEO and current chairman of the board will relinquish the latter role early next year.
Edgar Bronfman Jr., the chairman of the board at Warner Music Group, will step down from this position on January 31st, 2012. This career change will happen after his more prominent leave of his former CEO title, earlier this year. His company had been in the running for the sale of EMI few months ago. The final deal was split between Sony and Universal.
Bronfman had also served as CEO of liquor company, Seagram, and Vivendi Universal‘s vice chairman. He will stay on as a board director with Warner Music, which was recently sold to Access Industries for $3.3 billion.
