Fresh off of his very hard work on the score for the upcoming Fincher-directed adaptation The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has told us to expect new work How To Destroy Angels and, possibly, Nine Inch Nails in 2012.
In an interview with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, Reznor revealed information on a forthcoming album with his side project, How To Destroy Angels. This effort teams him with his wife Mariqueen Maandig, and writing partner and fellow Oscar-winner Atticus Ross.
News about How to Destroy Angels has been buzzing for while, and the partnership also completed Zeppelin cover, which was featured in the Dragon Tattoo trailer.
Reznor says that How To Destroy Angel’s forthcoming album will be available next year. The group is also considering the possibility of some 2012 live shows in addition to the album release.
