Coming three years and a few months after the release of their latest album, OH (Ohio), the Nashville natives Lambchop are gearing up to release their next album Mr. M this coming February. In the mean time, the first single off the album, “If Not I’ll Just Die,” is now available for your auditory pleasure.
With an ever revolving ensemble of musicians, the gang for Mr. M includes Scott Martin on drums, Matt Swanson on bass, Ryan Norris on guitar and organ, with Tony Crow on piano and William Tyler on guitar. Guests for the album include, Lambchop co-founding member Jonathan Marx, Cortney Tidwell, and fiddler Billy Contreras.
Recorded at Mark Nevers’ Beech House Recording in Nashville, Tenn. Mr. M will be Lambchop’s 11th studio album.
