SXSW 2012 Announces Second Round Showcasing Performers

The 2012 SXSW Music and Media Conference has added second round of bands to perform during the festival’s March 13-March 18 musical lineups. Additions include acts such as the UK’s Asking Alexandria, Tokyo’s Electric Eel Shock, and New York’s The Record Summer.

Though SXSW has released an official list of bands set to perform so far, additions and schedules are still forthcoming.  A current list is available on SXSW’s official site.

This year’s conference will take place on over eighty stages in downtown Austin, and will feature such user-friendly features as potential hotel bookings based on conference interests and interactive campus shuttles.
