The zef-rockers out of South Africa are about to release a new record, TEN$ION, which was set to be their second release on Interscope. The group chose “Fok Julle Naaiers” as their new single, which roughly translates to “Fuck you all”.  Record executives must have been stunned when they heard the lyrical content and saw the music video that had been prepared by the band.

After Interscope suggested to Die Antwoord that their new album be reworked, the band divorced the label.  On their online diary, they recapped the story with Interscope by saying, “U know what, rather hang on to your money, buy yourself something nice…we gonna do our own thing. Bye bye”.  Their forthcoming album, TEN$ION will be released on their new independent label, ZEF RECORDS.
