As previously reported, Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood of Radiohead have released their anticipated collaborative track, the ill-titled “Retarded Fren”. The single is the first from Lex Records 10th anniversary compilation album, entitled Complex, and is available now for download via Lex Records’ website.
The steel-faced rapper blends his signature style of droning wordplay and whimsical punchlines over the score, which borrows from Greenwood’s composition for There Will Be Blood.
Complex is being released digitally piece by piece, with one song being released per week for 10 weeks before being released on a limited edition 12 inch picturedisc that will be available in January.
