Fresh off the release of their cover of The Beatles’ “Revolution” and their own six-hour long song, The Flaming Lips have made good on their promise to release a 24-hour song. Dubbed “7 Skies H3,” the track saw a digital release this week along with a physical release in the form of a harddrive implanted into an actual human skull with chrome metal drips—that’s limited to 13 copies, though. Check out the track after the jump.
Undeniably progressive, “7 Skies H3” is being streamed over at the aptly titled FlamingLipsTwentyFourHourSong.com. The maximum number of listeners allowed is 999, though, so you may have to wait.
Oh, and as far as the skulls go, you can grab one for a measly five grand (shipping included, of course). They’re the real deal, too—obtained from an authorized Oklahoma dealer. In other news, there are people who deal human bones professionally.
