Jay-Z and Kanye West Expand ‘Watch the Throne’ Tour

Hip-hop superstars Jay-Z and Kanye West have again expanded their upcoming tour in support of their collaboration album, Watch the Throne, out now on Def Jam/Roc-a-fella/Roc Nation. As reported by Pitchfork, the tumultuous tour has been rescheduled and expanded once already, this time adding dates at Madison Square Garden as well as extra nights in Chicago and Los Angeles.

Both artists are coming off a hot-streaks, with West earning rave reviews for his boundary pushing progressive-rap direction on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Jay-Z’s commercially successful The Blue Print 3, but Watch the Throne borrows little from these two releases, instead featuring an all-star lineup of producers on nearly every track and the duo addressing issues like social inequality and black-on-black crime in addition to the flashy designer name-drops and references to nearly unimaginable wealth.
