Watch: Evelyn, Evelyn “Have You Seen My Sister Evelyn”/ An Evening With Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer Tour Dates

Evelyn, Evelyn- the conjoined-twin concept band composed of former Dresden Dolls’ pianist, singer and songwriter Amanda Palmer, (or Amanda Fucking Palmer if you prefer) and the talented Jason Webley- has released an awesome music video that uses state-of-the art animation techniques never before seen until now. Check out the video after the jump:

The video, directed by Hoku Uchiyama and produced by Vanishing Angle, features the twins doodling on a steamed-up window with their fingers. Almost instantly, the cartoon monkey one twin has drawn suddenly bursts to life and begins blinking, suddenly aware of its strange new existence. Then, a piano begins to play, and a wild animated side-show adventure begins that is definitely worth checking out.

The bizarre, bloody tale of the Evelyn sister’s birth and  is also now available in graphic novel via Dark Horse Comics, and was authored by Palmer and Webley and illustrated by Cynthia Von Buhler, with an afterward by author and newlywed husband to Palmer, Neil Gaiman.

Gaiman and Palmer will also be embarking on a brief West Coast c0-headlining tour, entitled “An Evening With Neil Gaiman and and Amanda Palmer”, beginning October 28 in San Diego and ending November 9 in Seattle, where audiences are promised an intimate and unusual night of songs, stories and spoken word poetry- and no doubt many more unexpected surprises.
