As I Lay Dying Celebrates a “Decade of Destruction”

San Diego metal act As I Lay Dying is celebrating the ten year milestone of their career this Fall by releasing Deca on November 8 on Metal Blade, as well as beginning a North American tour November 30 in Long Island, New York aptly titled “A Decade of Destruction” tour. The tour finishes up December 16 in San Diego.

Deca marks the bands ten year anniversary, and features 3 brand-new tracks, as well as covers of bands that were influential to AILD, including Slayer, Judas Priest and the Descendants.

The album will also include remixes of a few of the bands songs, including “Confined” (from 2005’s Shadows Are Security), remixed by Kelly “Carnage” Cairns (Austrian Death Machine, War of Ages) and “Elegy” (from their second release and Metal Blade debut album Frail Words Collapse), remixed by Big Chocolate (Asking Alexandria, iwrestledabearonce, and Suicide Silence).
