Radiohead is hitting the studio this December and January to begin recording new music, according to Thom Yorke in a recent interview in Rolling Stone. He offers the title of a track the band has been working on, “Come to Your Senses”, a rough version that still captures the band’s ideas, according to the 43 year-old singer.
“It would be fun to have [the new songs] ready when we go play next year,” Yorke continued, though he says he is unsure of how the band will release the material. One of Yorke’s side projects, Atoms for Peace, has also been recording, though a release date is still tentative according to the singer.
In addition to performing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Radiohead has also recently released TKOL RMX 1234567 on October 11 on XL Records. This two-disc, 19 song album is nearly two hours of remixes of the songs from the band’s 2010 album King of Limbs, by underground electronic artists such as Modeselektor and Harmonic 313, as well as many others.
