As the release of Justice’s much anticipated second album Audio, Video, Disco gets closer and closer, we start hearing more and more about it, and now we’re hearing more from it. Tracks have started popping up around various music sites and blogs, and here are two you may not have heard yet. Listen to “Canon and “Newlands” after the jump.
“Canon” stays firmly in dance territory with lot of synths and big, steady builds in volume and releases of energy, as well as a lot of melodic meandering. “Newlands” goes back to what the band said in their original discussion of the album about the album being more rock-oriented. The song is almost a straightforward retro rock song with more traditional verses and chorus. The new album is set to drop October 24 of off Ed Banger Records.
