The Good, The Bad & The Queen Return with One-Off Show in London

Fans of The Good, The Bad & The Queen mark your calendars and clear your schedules, for one night only the lustrous British supergroup will take over London’s Coronet Nov. 10.  The Thursday night show will be the band’s first live performance since 2008.

Honoring the 40th anniversary of Greenpeace and the arrival of the latest addition to Greenpeace’s fleet the Rainbow Warrior III in London, the band decided to host a one night show for the cause.

We’ve always supported Greenpeace and their amazing work. It should be a great night, we’re really looking forward to it, said Paul Simonon bassist for The Good, The Bad & The Queen on the band’s website.

Their last show was played in April 2008 in support of the fundraiser Love Music Hate Racism.

The Good, The Bad & The Queen are comprised of former Blur frontman and Gorillaz mastermind Damon Albarn, former Clash bassist Paul Simonon, former Verve guitarist and keyboardist Simon Tong, and drummer Tony Allen.

Tickets for the one-night show will go on sale this Friday Oct. 7.
