Following the release of his solo album, Valley Wind, earlier this week, Band of Horses guitarist Tyler Ramsey recently revealed to Apes on Tape that his main outfit is set to record their fourth studio release at the conclusion of their current fall tour.
No release date or title for the album is currently available and neither were discussed in the interview. However, Ramsey did say that the band is “really trying to get it solidified and get it done” at the end of their current tour.
He also commented on the cancelled Kings of Leon tour, which led to BOH’s ongoing set of dates, saying that the cancellation was “really frustrating and quite maddening.”
Recording will presumably begin in November, after the wrap of Ramsey’s solo tour. Fat Possum released Valley Wind on September 27.
