Watch: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax Cover Classic Motörhead

Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax–it sounds like a match that could only be made in hell, and last week the so-called “Big 4” of  the 80’s thrash-metal wave unleashed “Overkill” from Motörhead’s 1979 album of the same name during Metallica’s encore at the Yankee Stadium.

The show was a follow up to the Big 4 festival in California a few months prior, and is only the second time that the bands have toured together in the U.S.
