The Flaming Lips have put the finishing touches on their six-hour song, “I Found A Star On The Ground,” with 3 two-hour segments now live on SoundCloud.com for your audio viewing pleasure. The quarter day long song is also available in the Flaming Lips new toy package, the Strobo Trip Light Phase Illusion Toy.
Greeting fans at Portland’s Jackpot Records, Wayne Coyne, frontman of the Flaming Lips held another product release event at a small record shop today. However Coyne wasn’t offering fans gummy skulls this time, instead he unveiled the new Strobo Trip Light Phase Illusion Toy to the crowd.
The toy also features a USB drive that holds three new songs, one of which is the six-hour song, “I Found A Star On The Ground.” The other tracks are, “Butterfly, How Long It Takes To Die,” and, “Evil Minds.”
Coyne will be up in Seattle tomorrow at Sonic Boom Records around 6 p.m. to sell more of the Strobo Light toy music package.
