Bluesy New York transplants Alberta Cross have announced September 27 release date for their upcoming limited edition EP, The Rolling Thunder EP, as well as a a fall tour with psych-rockers Portugal. the Man. The tour begins in Columbia, Maryland on September 28 at Virgin Mobile Free Fest, before the band joins Portugal. the Man for the remaining dates which conclude on October 29 in Oxford, Mississippi.
The Rolling Thunder EP was recorded at Jimmy Hendrix’s world-renowned recording studio, Electric Ladyland in New York City, as well as at Sunset Sounds in Los Angeles, and will only be available at indie retail outlets and the band’s live shows.
