Darkness Falls Announces Trentemøller-Produced Debut Full-Length, Alive in Us

Newcomers Darkness Falls, who released their first EP this past March after being discovered by famed electronic composer Anders Trentemøller, recently announced that they will drop their debut full-length, Alive in US, on October 24.

Produced by Trentemøller, the album will feature 12 melancholic new tracks from the Danish duo. Described as a fusion of 60s guitar twang and spaced-out pop, Alive in Us is set provide the listener with phantasmagoric landscapes and bittersweet imagery.

To support the release of the album, Darkness falls—which consists of singer/keyboardist Josephine Philip and guitar/bass player Ina Lindgreen—have released a video for “Hey,” which you can check out below.

The album’s lead single, “The Void,” will see a physical release on September 26. Described as having “mysterious sci-fi tones,” that track clocks in at just 2.5 minutes and summons flowing, slightly creepy imagery that envelopes the track in engaged despondency.

The tracklisting for Alive in Us is as follows:

100 Meter Mind Dash
The Void
Night Will Be Dawn
