Accompanied with a harpist and violinist, Thurston Moore played the very gentle “Benediction” off of his solo LP Demolished Thoughts on Late Show With Dave Letterman.

It was a much different performance than normal for Moore, a member of Sonic Youth, a group known for its hardcore punk roots. “Benediction” was much more toned down with a very tranquilized Moore and backing band.
