Alt rock band Faith No More has announced an additional stop on their South American tour. The group will make stop at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This brings the total added South American stops to four.

The band has been extending their live performance plans since the end of their reunion tour last December. However, the group confirmed in an interview in October 2010 that they are interested in continuing to play live shows.
In a tweet sent earlier today, keyboardist Roddy Bottum confirmed the date and location for the extra South American stop, saying “Argentina, pleased to announce: FNM 8 de Noviembre Malvinas Argentinas (Buenos Aires, Argentina).”
Bassict Billy Gould corroborated via Twitter, saying, “!!8 De Noviembre, Malvinas Argentinas. Buenos Aires, Venimos, y nos veremos pronto! Gracias FNM Argentina por el fe.” For our non-Spanish speak readers, Gould says “we’re coming, and we’ll see you soon,” and thanks the Argentinean audiences for their faith.
The addition comes after the group agreed to play Chile’s Maquinaria Festival in September, a show that Gould has said will contain a “special surprise.”
For the time being, the surprise for most followers has been the amount of enthusiasm that the group has put into their impromptu South American additions. In July, a stop in Brazil was announced, and on August 23, Roddy Bottum confirmed via Twitter an additional stop in Uruguay, bringing the running total of additional South American stops to four.
