Social Distortion Announces Fall Tour Dates

California-based punk rock group Social Distortion has announced plans for fall tour alongside the Foo Fighters, Jane’s Addiction, Cake, and Cee Lo Green in support of their latest album, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, released January 2011 on Epitaph Records.

The tour will cover 11 cities, beginning in Edmonton, Alabama on September 4, and will conclude in Denver, Colorado on December 4. It will also include several festivals, including Austin City Limits, New Orleans’ The Voodoo Experience, and Chicago’s Riot Fest.

Social Distortion also plans to make a hometown appearance in the working class Southern California suburb of Fullerton alongside North Carolina honky-tonk rockers, The Avett Brothers.

Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes is the group’s first album since the release of Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll in 2004, and is the group’s first album done on the Epitaph label.
