Popped! Music Festival For Philly Includes The Shins, Girl Talk

After not appearing at all in 2010, the Popped! Music Festival will be triumphantly returning to Philadelphia for 2011 on September 23-24. It will host musical acts including Girl Talk, Pretty Lights, Cage The Elephant and a variety of more. The Popped! Music Festival has been around since 2007.

The festival will be hosted in FDR Park, located in South Philadelphia. The mainly indie event touts a theme of offering music, food and comedy. In addition to the headlining bands, some other acts will be Kreayshawn, Titus Andronicus and The Hold Steady.
