Nevermind to be Performed Live in Seattle Featuring Nirvana Bassist Kris Novoselic, Members of Campfire OK and Vaporland

Come September, Nirvana fans will have something else to celebrate besides the previously announced deluxe reissue of the band’s classic 1991 album, Nevermind. The album will be performed live in its entirety in Seattle at the Experience Music Project’s Sky Church featuring Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic along with members of groups such as Vaporland, The Fastbacks and Campfire OK.

Also included in the lineup are members of The Long Winters, Visqueen, Ravenna Woods and Valis.  The show is reportedly being held for the benefit of Susie Tennant, a prominent Seattle-area music scene personality who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Nevermind’s 20th-Anniversary edition will include remastered tracks, a digital release, demos, B-sides, a DVD and a Butch Vig alternate mix, among other goodies.
