Sheffield, UK’s premiere instrumental post-rock outfit 65daysofstatic has announced plans to release a deluxe edition of their fourth LP, We Were Exploding Anyway, which includes the Robert Smith-guested track “Come To Me.”
Released only in North America, the deluxe edition of We Were Exploding Anyway will include 65dos’ Heavy Sky EP, which features seven previously unreleased tracks from the band—a combination that will hit store shelves October 25 via Monotreme Records in 2xCD and 2xLP formats (along with a poster and digital download coupon).
To promote the album’s release, the band has released a promotional video featuring snippets of new tracks and hyper-visual performance footage:
The Robert Smith track, “Come To Me,” reportedly features the group’s signature wildly experimental sound that has been critically acclaimed on their previous three releases—a theme that carries throughout the album in ways unconventional even for 65dos.
